May the name of Mr Melvin Seiden be in benediction!

The Venerable Ambrosian Library regrets the loss of Mr Melvin Seiden, generous lover of Arts and philanthropist. Because of his generous efforts and contibutions, the Ambrosiana was able to make some of its treasures better known to the world. We remember here only the beautiful portfolios published for the exhibitions of the whole collection of the drawings of Albrecht Dürer and of the illuminations of the Ilias picta Ambrosiana, and the exhibition of the Arabic and Hebrew manuscripts of the Moaimonidean tradition. His name will always be remembered among the benefactors of our Instituion.
